Guide: Opportunities in the Data Act

The rights and obligations under the Data Act are complex. At the same time, they create a wide range of opportunities for companies of all industries and sizes, in particular for start-ups and SMEs. 

The EU Data Act does not only represent a legal obligation; it also offers a valuable opportunity to fundamentally review and optimise an organisation’s own data management. In industries where vast quantities of data are processed on a daily basis, the Data Act can act as a catalyst for positive change. 

We outline selected mechanisms of the Data Act and provide food for thought regarding possible use cases. At the same time, we cannot present definitive or comprehensive solutions, nor can this in any way replace legal advice for specific (use) cases.
